Another Rain Poncho Blog Exists?

One of the joys of Twitter is that I can hop on there, and search rain poncho, umbrellas, or rain ponchos and see anyone in the world who is talking about rainwear. It lets me engage in conversations with people, and I can really target my audience, and talk about what I know best: rainwear. The most interesting thing that I have seen on Twitter is the amount of tweets per day that come from the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team. It must rain every single day there, because there are tons of rainwear tweets per day about the Phillies.

Yesterday, a tweet about Disney World came across Twitter and we picked  it up. It turned out to be another blog post on rain ponchos. We thought we were the only rain poncho blog in existence! Turns out we still are, because this was just a single post on what happens when it rains at Disney. The bloggers name is Beth Barbara, and her URL is www.disneywithchildren.com. She writes stories on taking her kids to Disney world, and it turns out that sometimes the day ends up with a big rain poncho party. Disney used to have yellow rain ponchos, but people were complaining because once it rained, the entire place was full of yellow rain ponchos, and no one could find their family members. So now if you see a rain poncho at Disney, it will be clear so that people can see through them and locate family members. Disney also complained that people were using the yellow rain ponchos to steal things from their gift shops. We are lucky to have many theme parks offer our rain ponchos to cover their park guests when it rains, and stories like the one posted by Beth yesterday are always fun to come across.
